Each year, the ASC’s Technology Innovation and Effectiveness Award shines a bright light on the cutting edge of research technology. In last year’s award, the judging panel was struck by the extent to which collaboration and partnership working had been a significant factor in the development of new tools or technology-led methods, and bringing them to fruition.
April’s conference seeks to highlight this, providing a stage to showcase the best examples of effective innovation made possible through collaboration or partnership. Such collaboration may occur in many different guises – between research providers, research users, technology companies, between the commercial, academic and public sectors.
This promises to be an interesting and exciting day, providing an opportunity not just to see innovation in research technology at work, but also to learn what makes for success in technology-inspired collaborations.
