Matt works at the intersection of people and technology. He founded CrowdEmotion with the sole purpose of enabling technology to be empathetic, in turn empowering the human race.
As a TechCity Insider 100 entrepreneurs to watch, he passionately focuses on automating psychology into technology to create a much deeper understanding of people’s feelings and how they perceive their surroundings. He believes this is the key to a powerful evolution of humanity with the increased pairing of technology that offers a true form of personalisation and data empowerment.
The principle of empowerment extends to his company management and style which favours unlimited holidays, equal salaries, a diversified way to make product decisions. Commercially, he promotes co-development of intellectual property between academia and corporations.
Matt has built people measurement solutions for BBC, Turner, Omnicom, BBH, CNN, Telegraph, Time, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Mars, Bank of America, and Citigroup.
Outside of work, Matt avidly hikes the English countryside, cooks big roast dinners, and explores new cultures around the globe.
